"Dub", as he was affectionately called, was bred, raised and owned all of his life by Suzanne and Henning Koch of Stevinson, California. Believing that a horse has to be able to run before it can do anything else, Dub was raced as a two year old, ranking third in the nation. He went on to a vigorous and productive show career earning one Bronze Medallion in 1980, two Silver Medallions in 1982 and a Versatility Championship in 1984. His Cal-Western show record earned two Registers of Merit with a lifetime total of 524 points. He was Leading Sire of Performance Horses in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1996. Through December of 1995, his foals have earned 32 medallions and 3 Superior Achievements nationally, with lifetime totals through that date of over 2,400 points. The Koch's and other owners, competing and winning on sons and daughters of Double or Nothin, continue to add to his legacy.
