Welcome to Cal-Western Appaloosa Show Horse Association!

Created in 1966, Cal-Western has been the sole historical record keeping organization for statewide Appaloosa competition. We provide leadership and information, promote fun and reward excellence in all areas of Appaloosa competition.

Cal-Western members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of areas with their Appaloosa horses. We have traditional Appaloosa Breed Show programs, as well as other venues.

We offer an extensive All-Breed Show program, an Endurance and Competitive Trail Riding program, and a Saddle Log program. We are one of only two state Appaloosa organizations, in the Nation, and we are an affilliate of the National Appaloosa Horse Club, in Moscow, Idaho.
