Mister Re a 1983 Chestnut stallion, has proven himself to be not only a great competitor in his own right but a superior sire as well. Sired by Gojak and out of Washoe's Shirley, this crown jewel of the Dal Porto Ranch is a stallion that has proven himself to be exceptional and who should be remembered as one of the premier sires in the Appaloosa breed. We are just now beginning to see the legacy of his Get through the superior horses they are producing.

History has shown that Mister Re is a sire who will be remembered for his outstanding contribution to the Appaloosa breed and as a part of the Cal-Western legacy. Mister Re and his Get have done so much that it is hard to list all of the accomplishments. Many of these great horses competed in Cal-Western shows winning State Champion titles on their way to becoming National and /or World Champions. He has produced a National Champion Trail horse and, in the open performance, his offspring are among the best.

Mister Re has a very distinguished show record. In 1986 he was the 3-year-old National and World Champion stallion. In 1987, Mister Re had the coveted National Aged stallion title, as well as the World Champion Aged Stallion title. Then in 1989 he took Reserve National Champion Aged Stallion, Reserve National Grand Champion (the horse that beat Mister Re was disqualified making Mister Re the highest placing stallion at that National Show) and Reserve World Champion Aged Stallion. Beginning in 1991, he was National Champion Get of Sire, going on to hold that title in 1993 and reserve in 1994 and 1996. He earned 129 points in Halter, including his ROM and Superior titles. He has produced 44 World, National and Reserve Champions.

Mister Re has clearly left his mark on the Appaloosa breed. Ten years of National and World level accomplishments. Mister Re competed successfully on the show circuit for more years than virtually any other stallion while producing winners at the National level. He was retired from the show ring while he was still winning to make way for his protégé, Maids Dream.
